Can any one tell me is it is Makrooh or Haram to give the name "MALAK" to my daughter. Somebody told me that it is makrooh.

There are many islamic sites which list this as a name for girls. Then why is it makrooh or haram. Please can some body give me a definitive answer. Its urgent.
