Arham
“Most merciful, more compassionate”
Scholars differ on this name
Arham means 'most merciful', a superlative used in the Quran for Allah ('Arham ar-Rahimeen', 7:151). Jamia Binoria and one Darul Uloom Deoband fatwa advise a different name, while another Deoband fatwa permits it, so scholars differ.
Better choice: Ahmad
In the Quran
He said: My Lord! Have mercy on me and on my brother; bring us into Thy mercy, Thou the Most Merciful of all who show mercy.
