Najih means 'successful', but the Prophet ﷺ advised not to name servants Najih, Aflah, Rabah or Yasar, because 'Najih is not here' sounds like 'there is no success here' (Muslim 2137). Dawat-e-Islami and Jordan Iftaa call it makruh.
نجیح کا مطلب 'کامیاب' ہے، مگر نبی ﷺ نے غلاموں کے نام نجیح، افلح، رباح اور یسار رکھنے سے منع فرمایا، کیونکہ 'نجیح نہیں ہے' کہنا بدشگونی ہے (مسلم 2137)۔ دعوتِ اسلامی اور اردن کا دار الافتاء اسے مکروہ کہتے ہیں۔
