Arsh means the Throne of Allah (Quran 9:129). Darul Uloom Deoband has differing fatwas: one permits it, another advises changing it out of respect for the word.

عرش کا مطلب اللہ کا عرش ہے (سورہ توبہ 129)۔ دار العلوم دیوبند کے فتوے مختلف ہیں: ایک میں جائز، دوسرے میں بدلنے کا مشورہ دیا گیا۔

In the Quran

فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ حَسْبِىَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

پھر اگر یہ لوگ پھر جائیں (اور نہ مانیں) تو کہہ دو کہ خدا مجھے کفایت کرتا ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اسی پر میرا بھروسہ ہے اور وہی عرش عظیم کا مالک ہے
