The name Zubair means a brave and wise person. He's also a well known sahaba. But someone told me that if u go to the arabic origin (the root)of this name in the arabic dictionary then u end up with the meaning of "small penis". I want to know how this is possible. Can it be? Please I need some answers on this topic.

Don't get worried, they're laughing at you.
Zubair is obviously the diminutive form of
"zabir" (starting from letter "dad") that
means "hard, strong".
On the other hand, "penis" in arab is "zubb"
(starting from "zain"), diminutive form will
be "zubaib" or, less probably, "zuwaib". Not
"zubair" anyway.
